The movie serves as a testimony of the times we live in - misguided values, loss of spirituality, lack of direction. Johnny is a representative and symbol of exactly that age. Each one of us has to find the strength to stand up to their own 'Johnny'. This is a story of the battle  between good and evil in our souls.
